How to Read an Opportunity Score
The score ranks opportunities relative to each other. It does not predict success, and treating it as a prediction is the main way to misuse it.

Check evidence strength first
A 90 backed by three complaints from one platform is weaker than a 70 backed by forty across four. Evidence strength is the only dimension computed from data rather than judged, so it is the one to weight most heavily.
Dimension combinations worth noticing
- High competition gap plus low market size — a real but small niche, often ideal for a solo builder
- High pain severity plus low monetisation clarity — real pain, unclear payer, proceed carefully
- High build feasibility plus low distribution ease — easy to build, hard to sell, which is the more common failure
Always read the risks
The synthesis prompt asks for the strongest reason the idea fails. If that section names something you cannot answer, the score is beside the point.
