Revenue Data and Benchmarks
A revenue estimate with nothing underneath it is a guess with a dollar sign. We pass comparable companies into synthesis so the number is anchored to something real.

Where it comes from
- Y Combinator's public company directory
- Product Hunt launches
- Revenue datasets you import, including verified-MRR sources
- Marketplace listings, which carry both revenue and an asking price
How it is used
During synthesis, companies matching the opportunity's category are passed to the model alongside the evidence. Where no comparable exists, the estimate falls back to reasoning from the target customer and price point — and stays deliberately conservative.
Treat it as a band, not a forecast
The estimate describes what a solo founder executing well might reach in twelve months. It is a sanity check on the shape of the business, not a projection to put in a model.
